Steam Ride: Oxford-Cambridge-London 'University Challenge'

Perhaps not strictly results partly because they are provisional but secondly and mainly for those that don't know about Audax it's not a positional race but simply who can complete it .

But I represented our club in the 300k event but made it a bit harder for myself on a couple of levels, one missing two of the controls, one by a fair way, more practice required and secondly riding two and from the start which was best part of 50k each way.

I rode almost the entirety of the ride with a new friend Nick Marks and we made a good pairing keeping each other motivated and taking it in turns to shelter from the wind and correct each other's navigational errors.
