TG Ride 3/1/11

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Anyone up for a TG ride Monday about 2-3 hrs.I'd like to try part of the acc sportive route again as I haven't been out that way much. But this is not set in stone and I'm open to suggestions.

As it was a little chillier this morning we opted to stick to the main roads so down the A23 then left onto the A25 along to Pollhill then back along the A21 through Farnborough to west Wickham.
5 of us out as Sylv had Cracked his nuts earlier in the week  So Paul H, Rob W, Matt, Dave K and I were in. We had a good steady ride nothing too mad but didn't see much of Matt on the front, but he managed to hold on and suck our wheels to the Tea stop in WW.
Good safe route away from any icy patches and not too much traffic out on the main roads either which was a bonus.

Did you come off George?

I have DOMS big time. Bailed out of the ride before it even started  . I was hoping Marek would be there :D

Recovery ride to Bromley instead, bike now fully winterised with fenders, ready for the next TG

I will hasten to add that we did not actually go into the Feathers for a pint, although it was voiced that maybe that would be a good option.

Cheers

Marek....

If you got anything from Marek it would have been sand-bag-itis ;-)
