The unknown fast French bloke TTing in the UK last weekend

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

The unknown fast French bloke TTing in the UK last weekend

Postby Andrew G » Thu Apr 14, 2011 10:06 am

Last weekend there was a new name on a couple of local startsheets. An unknown Frenchman who turned out to be rather quick. Won the 10 he did on Saturday on the Bentley course and was second to one of the top UK testers on Sunday in a 25 on the course we'll probably be moving to for the ACC 25.

Very interesting, guessing the "Mike" mentioned is Mr Kazimierski?

Which "25" course are you moving to?

Will probably have to move to the G25/45 (results from the Redmon event last Sunday are http://www.timetriallingforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=56319). Presume Mike is Mr. Kazimierski who has also entered the ACC event :D . I've set the startsheet and got him off number 72 as he didn't have a LTS, it was 4 years old. I'll update his LTS from n/a to the time he did and he can try for my best improvement on LTS prize. Was his late start a cheeky one to nab some money off ACC  . Even with his 2 min late start he was 2 mins quicker than the time on his entry form.

The Charlottevile 10 result is http://www.timetriallingforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=56296 where he got the win ahead of "Wapid" Wouter!

Roadworks still on the 53 and the SCCU this weekend has moved to the 45, I'll check the roadworks are still there on Sunday before sending out the startsheet with the revised course.

The mail from Tony with the SS for the SCCU on Sunday said that the roadworks would go on past Easter so looks like the ACC Open will have to be diverted too.

Almost tempted to have a little drive round the A29 bit as I don't know that at all.

That's what he told me, he spoke to the foreman/man with the biggest mug of tea, so I'm expecting to have to switch and have drawn up the startsheet accordingly. I'm just going to give it until Sunday on the off chance they finish early before sending it out.

BTW you have Lucy 5 minutes behind you so no dragging your heels, she picked up £15 in prize money last week :) .
