I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Since no one took the offer I went out for a 35 mile bike ride. In the middle however I decided to do a 10 mile TT as I have never timed myself before. I got a time of 25:21; im pleased with that :)

Is that on Whytecliffe Road? I didn't know Purley had a train station.

If it is then that would be good.

Well done, although I'm not sure it counts as a 10 mile TT unless you've a number pinned on your back :D
Tomorrow evening there's a "10" on the Holmwood course:
    01/08/13. 10m. G10/42. 19:30. Redmon CC.

Well done Matt.
Re tomorrow's Redmon 10 it is their club championship so they may not have any guest spots available. Also as you are under 18 you would need to have a completed parent/guardian permission form to give them. I don't want to put obstacles in the way but if intending to do it then contact them first to ask if they have a guest place (should be done with other clubs' club 10s anyway as manners) but also inform them you are under 18. They may be happy for you to race if you have the form but may only want juniors from their own club out as they know them. It is nothing against you but may be something they have for all juniors.

If you need a form let me know, email if possible and I'll send you one. If are going to ride the President's 10 in September let me know and I'll ping you a form to cover that.

Cheers,

Andrew.
