Yeah I kind of know the route but not all of it.

Always best to end on box hill I think.

I'll have a think about it and maybe other people will come with better onboard sat nav..........

I know a decent route that takes in a few of the hard hills on the Tosh route, and we can decide on how long/short we want to make it on the day. The route I know includes a cake stop in Shere which is essential. I will have to cycle up so meeting at CSS is better for me. Can we go for a 9am start at CSS. I will see if I can get a few others to come along as well.

Cheers

Marek....

p.s. Simon have you asked Huw if he is up for it, I will see if Max fancies it.

What have I started!

Marek, you're not trying to get your own back for the Epic r u? always nice to have a seasoned tour guide, may replace the CR

had a big party week/end
but bought new shoes- should still ride well

Haven't mentioned it to Huw, I'm sure he'll catch wind

hope east grinstead is treating you well, bit of a trek up now? sun 9 am, ouch. Compromise 9.30am?

Ok, 9.30am at CSS, I will see if Huw and Max want to come along. What about Tim Liquigas? I am not going too well at the moment so it will be a reasonably easy pace, although I don't mind if you want to stretch your legs on the hills etc, as long as you wait for me at the top.

Cheers

That will be 25mph on the flats and 21 up the hills then! I'm racing on Sunday morning so will be taking things a bit more gently

No, really I mean we will be going a lot slower than earlier in the year and I mean it. Winter training mode has kicked in.

I know people will be organising long distance rides.

Anyone up for doing a really hilly one like this every month through the winter?

Could vary it by doing TOSH / TOKA / getting train to portsmouth / bognor regis and cycling home ?

Just an idea.

This looks tempting, but I 've only got 5 hours to play with on sunday. Must be back by 1.30. It takes an 1.15mins to get to CSS so i may come and join you for part of the ride.

I remember your winter training last winter Marek. There's no way I could keep up!

I'm doing the Redmon's Gentlemen's Grand Prix - an end of season two-up TT. There will be a few ACC teams out so if you 're going along the Newdigate - Rusper - Capel route on the way out you may see some.
