Training

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Training

I am looking to do some hill training through the winter.

If anyone is interesting in doing some after work or on sundays let me know.

Can start anywhere within a 3-5 mile range of croydon.

All the best.

I hope your not gonna be doing it on that bike you rode on today's club run Gavin? What happened to day you looked a little off the boil. Also, how are those short term goal coming along?

Awww well Toks I suppose I realised I was never going to make that 3rd Cat intermediate goal you were talking about.

Yes I struggled to push(literally at one point) the bike up the hills today.

I hope to improve over the coming weeks and be able to keep up with the slow 17s. I will ride my light bike in good weather but the old beast will be coming out on horrible days. I also adjusted my saddle height on my light bike to the same as the beast which I hope will help as I felt quite comfortable in terms of the pedaling rhythm.

Short term goals go riding with munnery and co tomorrow......

That is as far as I can think at the moment.

Come on Toks do the double Marmotte and Etape I mean it is almost like stage racing!
