An Hour Of Power Session@Richmond Park

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

An Hour Of Power Session@Richmond Park

Postby Toks » Mon Nov 28, 2005 10:51 pm

Hey dudes, anyone up for doing 3 brisk laps of Richmond Park on a sunday morning. R.P is slightly undulating and a lap at club run pace would probably take about 24mins. I was thinking we could meet at Roehampton Gate at 10.15am. It would be a good session for anyone who is turbo-less but still wants to maintain or indeed improve their current fitness levels. So if you're not burnt out from a season of TT's/ RR's/cyclosportivs and are hoping to be competitive in any of the above next season feel free to "come on down" :) . I'm not looking to rip anyone's legs off it'll be slightly faster than normal club run pace around av18-19mph. Weather permitting of course, text me on 07946-757-086 if you can make it on Sunday. :D

Sore ankles? I gots to know- perhaps its where you are chained to the sink 8) .
BTW loved your write up of last weeks club run, despite the fact it was so mild- you are the forums top yarn spinner now that soops has left to get married. When he is back and firing on all cyclinders the pair of you can have a write off!

Thanks Ian!!They're often written under duress - the other half is constantly pointing out my spelling mistakes. The sore ankles have gone now - very mysterious :? still not sure what that was about. . I told Elaine (me lady) about the problem hoping for some sympathy. Her reply "... with ankles as skinny as your's what do you expect" ...I hope we'll all get the chance to hang out around christmas time or the new year when Soops get back. If memory serves me right it might be today :) .

Ok I know lots of you we're really disappointed last sunday because you're desperate to raise your lactate threshold's which as you all know is paramount to any cycling success. So, see ya sunday 10.15am @Roehampton Gate :) :)

Toks,

Should be up for this if the Mrs lets me out.

I will be far behind as I am very unfit as you saw a while ago but I'll just keep going round ...........

Cheers

I won't be out this sunday Gavin, I'm going to checkout the training race at Eastway; it starts at 10am. Keep an eye on this thread and I'll let you know when the next session is.
