Pilates

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

The right decision though

Hi,

I'm afraid I won't make it to Wednesday's (18th) class as I'm off to East Sussex for a week's riding, if the weather stays nice :D

I was speaking to John Cz on the way back today, and he would like to take my place for one session, if that's ok with Adam.

Final pilates session at the clubroom for me so just wanted to say a big thank you to Adam. Very helpful learning lots of stretches and core strengthening exercises, just got to kick my lazy backside in to doing them at home for 20 minutes 2 or 3 evenings a week.

I think you should continue Andrew, you know you love it.

You know you can move mats if it's too loud where you are now!!!!!

I had a good giggle last night and I'm signing up to continue the next block. There is no way I would ever do any of that at home. Adam has a great way with people and I enjoy the variation of moves and stretches.

I'm going to ask Adam for frequent users discount soon

I think I might bring in loyalty cards. Purely to satisfy my ego.
Thanks for the memories Andrew

Sorry I missed tonight's class teach, got home late then had a bunch of things to do lugging stuff about so our plumbers can put new rads in tomorrow. Please don't make me suffer too much next week

Yeah it's definitely worth giving it a go :)

As Dombo commented after his Cyclefit session he was able to see clear increases in his cycling power output when focusing on using his "core"

Pilates is all about helping you learn how to use your core so is guaranteed to result in you winning more races (maybe)

Wow! Great class last night. Plenty of sore backs in so Adam adapted things very well I thought. Good fun, and I for one feel much better today. Hope y'all do too.

Tidy!

ACC Pilates: Re-enrolment

Postby Pilates-balance.com » Mon May 11, 2009 1:30 pm

Dear ACC folk,

First of all a thousand apologies for taking an age in formally starting the re-enrollment procedure!
Snoop takes some following in the admin stakes, as I'm sure he does on the road - cue cheeky asides!

For those of you currently enrolled on the Pilates class at ACC, last week’s session was the final class of your 8-week pre-paid block.

The dates of the new block run from May 13th – June 17th.
Please note that the new block is a 6-week block instead of the usual 8 weeks, as I will teaching in Italy 24th June.
The fee for the 6-week block is £45

Could you please let me know ASAP if you would like to enrol / re-enrol so I can manage class numbers.

I have emailed everyone who I have an email address for with the above information and with my bank details for anyone who would like to make payment via internet banking.

For anyone who hasn't been to ACC Pilates yet, please feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.
We're quite a welcoming bunch for newbies.

Best,

Adam Murby

Summer Pilates

Postby Pilates-balance.com » Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:14 pm

Dear ACC folk,

This Wednesday's class is the last session of your pre-booked block.
I will be teaching in Italy the following week, so we can potentially start a new block on 1st July.

I would suggest that we keep the block at 6-weeks instead of the 8-week block, as we are approaching the holiday season.

The dates of a new 6-week block would be 1st July - 5th August.
The block after would be 12th August - 16th September.

Could each of you please let me know your availability for the two blocks.

If demand is low it may better to have break and start again in September.

Let me know your thoughts.

Best,

Adam Murby
