Pilates

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Yeah, it's the Just 4 Fun group next Saturday! Adam, get on a real bike and see cyclists in action :P

It wasn't my abs that ached as my hips and thighs which had me worried that I'd be deadlegged for the club run let alone my ride to Balcombe :(

Are we on for tomorrow? Adam - how be the tracks from your part of the world? Can you moto on down OK?

Roads here are like a rink but I reckon I can make it.

That's a good question Snoop. I've had to cancel all my other classes this week at request of Lewisham council.
I can't come on scooter, but it looks like it will be ok via tram.

I put it to the members!

Class tonight? Thoughts please....
Maybe we should show hands on the matter.

Spread the word!

Depends how slippery it is on the street. My road is still covered in hard-packed snow & ice. I went out clinging onto Keith's arm on Monday to go and pick up a wobble board (way cool!) from a friend, but now the snow's been compacted and half-melted and re-frozen I'm actually rather scared of falling over.

If Keith's home from work in time he could drive me over.

Would rather not come out as it'll be getting quite icy tonight and ice doesn't conduct electricity so I'm not being too confident about the trams and trains...

I'll keep an eye on the board, but I'm becoming more and more minded to cancel tonight and add a week to the end of the block. If we do go ahead tonight, I think we could have a low turn out, so maybe the majority would like an extra week at the end.
More thoughts....

I am easy - dont mind what we do really but have slight erring on the side of cancel as that hall is quite nippy at the best of times (and i am northern so you southern softies would be frozen solid!!)

I won't be there if it's on tonight.

Still icy and compacted snow on my road and wouldn't stand a chance of getting the car out the garage. Commuted on the MTB today (which took a fair bit longer than normal) so don't fancy getting it out again once I've got home as I'll have done about 2 3/4hrs today already by the time I get home.

Ok. I have to leave the computer now and teach a class this afternoon, which means I have to make a call now or around 6.30pm. That might be a bit late notice for word to get around to those that haven't posted yet.
Class is cancelled tonight. an additional week will be added to the block of 8 weeks.

Can you help spread the word.

Look forward to seeing you next week.
