Are you introducing these to the new enhanced test protocols for 2009?

Stu is 15-20 years younger than most other people tested so far - would you say this could partly explains his high LBP HR of 165 (best one so far I think)? If given one of the widespread formulas you can deduct +/-1bpm of your max (and average?) per year you get older.

Or could he keep the same figure of 165 in ten years' time?

my max heart rate is fairly high, 210, so that might explain it?

I've seen 195bpm and I'm 36, was tested with a LBP of 165 in Mallorca this year.

Well if Stu ever wants to do some LBP-20 he can still go with the 19mph group!

He won't be going up Reigate steps with the 19's unless :-

1) He gove above his Bi-STF zone.
2) The 19's slow right down so Stu is in his right zone.

Me and Keith tried in with the 18's (which did 19mph) but they dropped us up Reigate steps :D

Im 41 and my highest heart rate is 201

My resting heart rate is 53. Should I be dead.

I noticed when going up Box Hill side by side with Sylv on sat that his HR was 142 where as mine was 170, its not as though we were flying up, the opposite in fact. I blame my fat belly for being to heavy to go up any quicker :D

Going to have to book myself in for a test Rob and see the figures. Not sure if this will help me choose which way to go with a training plan as it seems the verdicts still out on whats best but will be interesting to see how I fair against other people when the results are analyzed.
