I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Well done, my partner in lbp-20 crime! All those long/wet/cold rides have been worth it. Just goes to show, you can make some really big gains in a relatively short time.

All I need to do now is make sure my body does it too (gulp)

Michelle,

I can assure you that you have trained alot harder than I have. I did break into a sweat once then Rob told me to take the hat & scarf off :lol:

Never thought I'd be on the turbo in winter togs.

[quote="Sean Hogan - 何祥"]RobH says test # 1 was only for 45 minutes....

lightweight ;-)

No Sean you misunderstaood what I wrote in the power section.

Mark did a LBP test on 16/10.

On 29/10 Mark did a Fucntional Threshold Test which lasted 45mins and is not the same as a LBP test. It's a lot tougher!

8/12 Mark does his 2nd LBP test.

So he's not a lightweight Sean.

Sean,

If you think Mark is a lighweight come over to my place and do the 45mins effort, it won't cost you a dime.

No slacking though....199W (5 weeks ago) is the figure to beat. :D

That 45 minute test was a killer. Sean give it a go it's fun.

I thought I was doing ok, finding it a bit tough, then Rob said "That's the warm up done" :shock: :lol:

He basically said do what ever you want, but it was hard to know how hard to go to be able to last the distance. Good fun :wink:

The rematch is against yourself Sean. No-one's the same so you have to compete against yourself in these tests :twisted: .
