Chaingang

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Can we make a date for the first one of 2009?

I was thinking the 7th January from CSS 6.45pm.

I need to get in to shape and as I have said many times before this is the best way for me :D

I will be trying to get out on the clubruns come the New Year so we can finalise things then, this is of course dependent on me making arrangements to get my children to their various activities by some means that doesn't include me :D

Awww Dominic, what a shame, this clashes with Pilates otherwise I'd love to join you

Re your final point, maybe a bit late but if you check with Santa he may have a magick carpet left fer transportin les enfants

I'd be interested in coming on one of these to see how I bear up.
Thinking of racing at Palace this season so like wise to you Dominic would like some race preparation rides in order to be fully fit for the hectic pace that is Palace!
Let you know for certain closer to the date.

No chance we can change this to a Tuesday?
Any night other than Wednesday night I can do.

I'd definitely be interested! I don't get time to ride during the day, and with a baby & toddler weekends are just too busy. This sounds like the perfect sollution! Any night of the week would be fine. Need to get up to some sort of fitness level first though, so maybe not next week, but count me in for the week after...

Planning to go Wednesday this week as it suits other things. The day can be changed later if it suits more people or two could be run one on either day. The route for those that don't know is from CSS along the A23 through Redhill, then Salfords, the outskirts of Horley (still the A23) to the Longbridge roundabout, left there past Gatwick left at the next roundabout and turn at the following roundabout. This is the one next to Evans. Then it is back the same way.

If nobody can make it this week or just don't want to can you let me know as I will probably leave half an hour earlier if I am on my own.

Thanks

I've got darts tonight (Tuesday) but may join you Wednesday along the route, as I would drop down Chipstead Valleyfrom work, and peel off on my way home.
