Chaingang 14/01

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

What about looking good on the photos though? Or does that make you look like a dork to "those that know"?

Oh fear not, come the 24th I shall extract my revenge if your boys are on the same bit of tarmac as me. :wink:

Thanks for all the advice Adam, I am taking note of what your saying. I'll put it into good practice this saturday.

[quote="Antloony"]Cheers guys.

Your right Adam. I did sit on the front at Hillingdon during the race but tbh the pace was that slow it took nothing out of me. It was only on the last lap that I really put in a big effort to close down the two who'd got a decent'ish gap over the field as no one else bothered or couldn't. I wasn't expecting a great result from that race as the conditions and the cold both worked against me,hopefully this sat will see a better result, I'm looking to get top 3 placing which is well within my reach.
Dude you're strong enough to win at Hillingdon. And best of all you could do it in a sprint or riding off the front. I came 3rd in my 4th ever race at Hillingdon and I was definitley not as strong as you are. Percentage wise most of those early digs don't amount to much in the 4ths. Don't do any of that engine revving at the front of the pack (its just wasting fuel and only helps everyone else) just sit in and with around 6 laps to go kick hard and go for it solo. :D

Normally meet at 6.45 but don't get going straight away. I'd be quite happy to wait for you Sylv.
