Chain Gang 18 Feb

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

I'll be there.

Just got back form the Elmers end chain gang,
Hit a huge hole which blew my rear tyre out and broke my wheel and swiveled my bars round.

None of the 15 stopped to assist  Lucky I sorted it myself otherwise it would have been a 10 mile walk

Andy, do you want to make it 7? You may not want to ride the fixie if Georgzilla is coming out.

Surely Georgezilla should be worried about trying to keep up with me on my fixed rather than the other way around

7pm would be good if that's ok with everyone else. That should give me enough time to put a saddle on my geared bike.

You should have turned round and joined us Stu :D

Good ride tonight, hard work at times and I had to dig deep a more than once but week by week I can feel the benefit and feel stronger for the effort. Cheers guys.

Good training ride last night. Quite a few of us out tonight and I had a bit too much recovery time between turns.
Dom was on the front all the way back from Redhill to Mershtham we were all waiting for a go
After I'd done a turn next up was Paul so I really had to make sure I got on the back of the gang.
Anyone fancies another one at Elmers End tonight?
