2009 Richmond Park 3 Lap Challenge

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Technically ligament is not 100% strong yet and I wouldn't be skiing or playing tennis yet, but good enough for cycling as it's not sollicited.

It hurt a bit after I went all out out of the saddle on Box Hill the other day though!

Not quite 3 laps on the way home - just one, a rest, and another one - 17-17 and 17-30. :D No power data but probably about 4W/kg. Once I lose 20kg to get down to Sylv's weight .....

After losing a couple of kilos, I seem to be going ok, so thought instead of my usual Monday steady ride with a coffee stop at Box, I`d test myself over RP.

Just managed to go under the hour for the 3 laps on my road bike, which I haven`t achieved for a number of years, so was pleased with my effort.

Still sh1t on the hills though.

Well done Terry, good to see you're going so well. Stuff the hills just keep killing it everywhere else and embarrassing the whipper snappers. :)

Inspired by the challenge I took a ride to Richmond today.

Three lap challenge 57:47
(counter clockwise starting from the Roehampton Cafe)

Pleasantly surprised.
