B training ride anyone?

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Yes mate, should be as Serge has some friends coming down from up north that he wants to throw in at the deep end in the B training group.

Great to see this getting a plug. I'm away this weekend but I hope this thrives, I need to chuck myself into some serious trouble real soon

The B training group is a great way of stepping up from the 19's. It doesn't require a great deal more effort, its just the pace can alter quite quickly as people will attack from time to time. The beauty of the training groups is the fact you can just sit in the shelter of the group all the way to the cafe and no one will bat an eyelid or moan at you for not doing any turns on the front. We regroup if the group splits after the various lumps and bumps we go over so unless your really slloowwwwwww you'll never get dropped. Be nice to see a few new faces giving it a try.

I'm not doing any A training group rides at the mo due to my knee so hopefully there'll be enough peeps for a B ride.
