training tips: what not to do

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

training tips: what not to do

Postby kieran » Mon Jun 01, 2009 1:13 pm

Don't take a week out and go hill walking in Scotland every day for a week. Came back Friday night and did a 3 hour cycle on Saturday morning along the ride of the falling leaves course (hilly) and my legs still ache! During the course of the week my legs totally re-adapted to long walks and now trying to rapidly recondition them again.
