i can work out the length and average gradient of the boxhill climb on my ergomo, and the amount of meters climbed. its about 150m but i'll double check this.
is there a website to work out VAM? would VAM work as isn't this worked out as vertical metres climbed per hour?
watts per kg can be worked out by the average power you pushed up the climb, plus the weight of your bike and your bodyweight
i'm putting up 4 hilly TT challenges on my website
www.sound-coaching.co.uk this week, to include boxhill on road and xc on a mtb (chalk path), and also leith hill from where the road starts going up at the turn in dorking, up to the pub at coldharbour (name tbc) and also off road on mtb from the bayleaf restaurant in westcott to the leith hill tower. Nirvana say this can be done in under 30 minutes. i will get more info from them on the record
the routes will also be posted on my website
so for now i've listed kingston wheelers boxhill TT times, i have a couple of ACC times, steve bayliss has been emailed for his time up boxhill, and once i have some more ACC times (please pm me your time asap) which has to be for 2009, then i'll add them on to the web
lets see if we are top up boxhill!! let the competition begin!!
