Few bits and bobs wanted

Postby Sarah_M » Mon Apr 07, 2008 1:10 pm

Hi,
I am after a few things and wondering if anyone got any of them knocking around in their shed or garage that they would like to sell?
I am after a spare back wheel with campag 10 speed gearing for a trainer wheel, a pair of cheap and cheerful entry level pedals like LOOK, Ceo, Time etc and cheap and cheerful entry level clip on tri bar.
If anyone has any of these to sell please let me know.
Thanks
Sarah

I've got some spare Look pedals you can have gratis. Nothing fancy but do the job fine, I still have the same ones on my commuter.

Are you going to be at the club room talk on Wednesday? I can bring them there if you are, failing that pm me your address and I can probably drop them round before or after.

Ah, thanks heaps Andrew :D I have SPD ones at the moment (the little cleat ones for touring) but think it would be better with proper road pedals. I may be at the club talk but am just down the road in Addiscombe so can pop along at some point in the evening if I can't make all of it.

Okee-dokee. They are the ones that take the older style Delta cleat (get the red ones) rather than the new Keo but I've only ever used the "old" ones and can't see a problem with them.

I'm sure we could turn the club night into a bring-n-buy sale if we tried hard enough!

We've had one of those, last year some time. Could be worth another go sometime.

I've got some Chorus Pro-fit pedals. Mind you, I swapped them for Looks, so if I were you I'd go with Mr Green's offer.

Thanks Mike,
I had a few offers of pedals but will go with Andrew's fine offer :D Will be at club night later, I have a pass :)
I like the idea of a 'bring and buy' sale. I would be happy to organise something at some point.

'fine offer' was supposed to read kind offer. I can't type today!

I was going to say they are not what I would call fine pedals :D , basic but they work.

Sean - No, and anyway a new purchase wouldn't go in the garage, it'd get cold in there...and it's dark.
