Tub Repairs

Postby mrP(Boonen)VT » Thu May 08, 2008 8:49 am

OK, after much arm twisting, I'm going ahead with MrPVT's Tub Repair Service.

Simple puncture repair £5

Complicated or multiple repairs or valve repair etc additional £5 - will advise before proceeding.

I can't do huge batches, but 1 or 2 at a time is OK.

I aim to do them the same, or next day.

Could this be something for a Wednesday night demo session? I have a load of tubs that need repairing and am suddenly seeing a way to get them all fixed in one evening. If people want to have a go at mending but don't have their to practice on then you'd be welcome to borrow one of mine...and the guru can show us how to fix it.

I've just spent £25 on repair thread, glue and patches - and you'll take all my business away if people do them themselves

Don't worry Paul you'll get all of mine as I'd stick myself the wall and stitch myself to the sofa if I tried this myself.

OK then.....I've got quite a collection in various states at home that I could bring along, but would have to be a smallish group.
