I won't be there to defend my "Hillingdon B race champion" crown as I'll be travelling back from 2 weeks mountainbiking in Moab.

I would like to be there, but don't know if I can make it. My wife and I have that weekend to ourselves as the children are away so we were planning on going somewhere 'nice', and I'm afraid Hillingdon doesn't make the grade. So if I don't turn up, have a great day.

Hi Alan, I know with a bit of imagination and some fast talking maybe I could convince my wife that she would want to be there!

Anyway, there is a slight chance that I will make it, as my wife is on call that weekend and if she can't get a swap we may not be able to go away.

Kieran if you're going away then that fine. Otherwise you and the wife only need be a part for just over an hour while the race is on. A quick shower after the race and then a nice Indian or Thai meal down the road in Southhall. Or jump on a train and be in Oxford in an hour for a nice afternoon/evening in Oxford. Stay over in a decent hotel and head back to London late afternoon/early evning. I'm sure someone will volunteer to look after your bike  :D

Just come along on the day Jon. We'll be glad to see you there :D :D :D
By the way may I suggest anyone who is gonna do the A race would be wise to at least link up with the training group either this saturday or next saturday. Even if you can hang in there for just 30 mins it'll be good training for the race on the 19th
