MTB Sunday 18 Nov

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Let's revive the off-road ride, meet Sunday 10am at East Croydon station taxi rank, easy pace, all welcome. Depending on who's there, I'm happy to lead or follow. Please post if you're planning to come along.

Hi Colin, I'm keen to go on an off-road ride Sunday. Hopefully the weather won't be too bad, 'cause for slightly complicated reasons which I won't go into on here, I fitted a pair of Michelin Dry on my bike this week. Unsurprisingly they are not recommended for muddy conditions, but are apparently excellent when the trails are dry :?

So see you 10 am Sunday with my totally unsuitable bike.

Bob/Alan - great. The BBC forecast for tomorrow is sunny from dawn to dusk so hope to see you both (and anyone else who fancies it) in the morning.

Assuming that this cold has abated to the point that I can breathe unaided, and without coughing like an asthmatic coal miner who's spent his entire adult life smoking 60 capstans a day, then I'll come along and hope the pace is properly slack.

Glorious early winter riding today with Bob, Alan and Grahame, touring around some favourite local trails and lanes with a stop to soak up the sun at the cafe in Downe (where George and Sylv's road group also stopped to chat). Let's hope for a few more Sundays like this before Christmas.
