Sun CR 14 Oct

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Sun CR 14 Oct

09:30 at CSS - it's traditional! :D

Weather looking a bit colder, but bright and dry. so a few hills to keep us warm.

Out via Chipstead, Walton and Pebble Hill, then Betchworth, Capel and Ockley to Leith.

Coming back via Holmbury Hill, Peaslake, White Down, Ranmore and Box.

That should keep our temperatures up!

Sounds serious Del. If my lurgi has cleared then I'm up for a bit of that.

Which way up Leith? Henshurst Cross Lane/Anstie Lane is nice but not if it's wet.

Well, I was coming up from the Ockley side, but I've just found that the Dorking sportive is on this Sunday, so I may start planning an equally hilly adventure over in Kent instead!

I just need to consult the Andrew  route map of Ide, Toys and Puddledock! :D

Looking at the sportive route, it should be possible to work round/against it. And play "spot the fat bloke in Sky kit" (note: I don't have Sky kit)

Bollox!

Right, who's up for 200 laps of the CSS car park then!? 8)

I took a look at the Dorking Sportive route, as suggested by Mr Pie, and I reckon he's right that we can avoid any clashes with their route.

Spoke to Katie on the CR today and I'll probably chnage the route so that thoose who want to ride the Sunday CR, but also get across to one of the hill climbs can do both.

We'll go out as planned towards Box Hill, but then head east, so that we end up somewhere in the Titsey/Westerham/Brasted area.

Need a bit of advice from Andrew here. I think there are 2 climbs tomorrow, one after the other? I'm assuming one is at White Lane near Titsey and the other at Yorks Hill? What time are they on, so that I can drop those who want to reach them as close as possible? I'm guessing that anyone doing the Sunday CR may only see the second hill climb?

The Bec CC Hill Climb is on White Lane (parallel to Titsey), 2 - 3:50pm.

The faster, named riders set off last.

Yes 10am at Selsdon lights (top of Farley Rd, opposite the Sir Julian Huxley). Going to be a chilly day and can be nippy out in the country under the trees so a wrap up day.

We'll wait for you at the lights, just Amy, you and Tom so silly and rude not to wait.
