Chain Gang 25/3 - Junior friendly

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

Chain Gang 25/3 - Junior friendly

Postby Paul H » Wed Mar 25, 2009 12:01 am

Anybody fancy it?

Ive got another Triathlon bloke coming tomorrow. He is a big bloke full of muscle so could be interesting to see how he gets on. He wants to do Road Racing as well.

I'm doubtful as well. Looks like being a quiet one tonight then.

An ideal time for some of the 18's and 19's group riders to dip their toe in and have a go. If your planning on starting racing at Palace etc this is an ideal opportunity to start stretching your legs and getting in some pre season harder training rides.

Yes Adam, he's that good I'd watch out if I was you, if it wasn't for his gear restrictions he'd be kicking your butt

Well exactly, this is why gear restrictions are so important you see.

Is Jack even junior yet?

I thought I saw written somewhere he was 15? Meaning he's a youth. Meaning even more restricted gears!

Yep he's 15.

When you say more restricted gears I presume you mean at the rear? All I know is that they check his bike after every race he's in to determine his highest gear ratio so it complies with the rules.
