I'll say it's a 18s rider type ride but It'll be relaxed without dropping anyone. The route has a few climbs but nothing too bad. I'm hoping the forecast clearer weather towards the end of the week holds as I plan on going down the fantastic lanes I found the other week (don't worry it'll be without the cyclo-cross section) and a couple more afterwards. The lanes are narrow, some twisty, liable to have some bits of tree debris on them and one is a bit loose surface to start with. The only reason for mentioning that is so that if you come then ride suitable wheels and tyres, don't bring carbon rims and silk tubs

I'll work out the distance for those that like to know later but it'll be fairly similar to a normal CR in distance and time, i.e. you should be home for 1ish.
The cafe stop will be late so bring a snack for the road. It'll be right towards the end of the ride. After the laney lanes we'll go up White Lane as I should really go up it once since last year before doing the Bec HC on Sunday, then we just scoot down to the cafe at Tatsfield Reptile Zoo which is a couple of minutes from White Lane and does cheap nice tea and bacon sarnies. If time is tight for people then it's very easy to just ride back along the ridge to Warlingham and home in a few miles and I can point you the way.
