Would you lot bog off - this isn't about the TG anyway - it's about trying to introduce some alternative rides to the ACC or the ACC to some alternative rides. After all, Pete's group has grown as people have discovered the joy of riding on different roads.
Yes, Charlwood is popular, yes, it does work but there's lots of other places out there. And I do appreciate that the TG route needs to be a familiar route - I do understand the concept. But this isn't really for the TG unless they're having an easy day. Other speed groups can (could) be organised once routes/destinations become known. So let's not argue whether we need alternative routes or not and let's just get on with trying to do something. My only suggestion being that you might have a couple of routes to ring the changes.
Rob W, you would be quite welcome to join us but I fear we will rather slow for you. You could always ride in a high gear the whole way, push those who are slower up hills or turn round, go back down the hill and ride back up again
