Easy-paced ride BH Mon - off (for me anyway)

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Easy-paced ride BH Mon - off (for me anyway)

Anyone want to join me for an easy-paced ride somewhere warm for lunch? Got a couple of ideas of where to go but suggestions welcome. Polite ones.

IF - and it's a big if - this goes ahead, it will be very slow and not very far, going by my ride today. Was a relief to meet someone else who's been suffering the same cough and has been struggling with riding too - bad news, he'd had it for weeks.... Shall see how riding to my parents' goes tomorrow.

Me and Tom could well be up for this. I really haven't been well these past few days and could do with something easy.

It'll definitely be slow... Any ideas on where to go? I'll have a look at a map later and see what I come up with.

For an easy ride, Portnalls, through Muggswell, short right on the A217, Walton, Ebbisham Lane, Little Switzerland, Ranmore, Dorking, Coldharbour Lane, Abinger, Whitedown, down Ranmore, up Box and home.

Or not.

Thinking of ending up at Tanhouse if they're open and trying their pancakes. (Just seen on their website, they've opened up a cafe at Leith Hill Tower this Easter - they must be doing well.) Got a route worked out that involves Pebble, Leigh, Norwood Hill, Charlwood and Gatwick before looping back to Rusper and up to Tanhouse. No major hills - Norwood's bad enough for me at the moment.

Can change the meeting place and time if that suits you better - say Woodmansterne

Struggled even over to my parents' - don't know whether it's the cold (temperature) or hangover from the cough. Probably not a good idea to struggle out again tomorrow and knacker myself again. I also get a bit cranky when I'm riding like this...

I feel for you, Amy. I'm planning lots of very easy-paced rides the next couple of weeks just trying to get some fitness back. :(
